Frequently Asked Quesions.

Do you take insurance?

As we fall into the area of pro-active and preventative care, RH does not take insurance. However HSA's or health savings accounts are perfect avenues for organizations, team members, and clients to utilize for a pretax opportunity.

What is the difference between RootHealth and other providers?

There's quite a few differences. It depends on the provider. Some tend to work more like a fitness club. Most occupational health or workplace wellness programs offer clinical services (from a nurse for basic cholesterol screenings and such) along with fitness workers.

Anyone who works with or for RootHealth is extremely specialized in the health sciences and adaptive physiology with over a Master's level of education and a decade or more of professional experience.

RootHealth does:

*Put injury resilience and the elimination of pain first;

*Utilizes pro-active Functional Health Systems to eliminate conditions/pain/injury at the root cause;

*Focus on prevention AND resilience

*Have a very comprehensive educational program;

*Focus on healthy movement training much more;

*Have 1/1 coaches to develop individual team members with precision

*Are more centered on the active living of the individual yielding a better team member.

What role does RootHealth have with Human Resources?

Really, we are just to work to make their life easier. The more effect we have, the easier their job becomes.

Who does RootHealth work with?
RootHealth works with people with chronic health conditions, athletes to increase performance/decrease injury, those exiting the care of healthcare providers, those under the care of healthcare providers, and those looking to optimize their conditioning program based on health testing and outcomes.

Does RootHealth work with rehab?

Within our scope of practice is ‘post-rehab’ and ‘prehab’. In other words, should you have an injury, a physical therapist would work on the healing post injury. After that, we will work with you on developing strength and a balanced physiology to avoid injury recurrence, which is common.

In cases where pain or other health condition is chronic rather than an acute event or surgery, we can work to develop past physiologic IMBALANCES that are the SOURCE OF injury. In some cases, an orthopedist, DO, or DPT consultant may be required first.
